The Juneteenth festival, organized by the SWLA Juneteenth Committee, will conclude with its grand finale event on June 21, 2025 at Heymann Park 1500 S Orange St, Lafayette.
Juneteenth is the oldest African-American celebration in the United States, Lafayette has hosted many activities, including parades, pageants, banquets, festivals, essay and poster contests, and unique events like barbecues, father-son, and mother-daughter look-alike contests.
